The Association of Community Theatre is the umbrella organisation covering all groups who perform theatre shows.
It is a specialist organisation offering a range of services:

Workshops in all aspects of acting, music, singing, dance, technical, backstage and many more
KEY FACTS:
The AIM of the Association is to educate and develop the publics appreciation of the performing arts.
The objectives will be to support the members, who in themselves are active in the performing arts.
The Association will aim to support its members by offering assistance, advocacy and by sharing information.
Its members will also benefit from a suite of support to include; access to publications, technical advice, discounted financial support and importantly, the experience and knowledge of other like minded people.
The Association will be governed by two Boards who will be responsible for ensuring objectives are met and to manage the day to day running of the Association.
The two Boards, Executive and Management, will initially be made up of founding members. They will have the ability to co-opt additional Board members and recommend new roles as the Association grows.
The tenure of all Board members will be no longer than a year and continuation will be by membership approval.
Membership will be made up of those people who want to uphold the aims of the Association and the Association will extend its membership to any individual, society, group or business that regard themselves as being part of the performing arts.
The Association will be financed via subscription and funding and all funds will be re-invested in supporting the Associations aims
